On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Greater Michigan Construction Academy (GMCA) will be hosting an open house for area students and residents to learn more about the skilled trades training opportunities they offer.
The event will take place from 6-7:30pm at the facility located at 1501 Rensen Street. Attendees will be able to tour the facility, watch current students as they work in their training labs, and speak with students and instructors. GMCA staff will be available to offer more details on curriculum and tuition costs.
GMCA currently trains in twelve different construction trades specialties. The Academy is a nationally registered program with NCCER and the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT). GMCA is also the first vocational school of its kind to go through the process and receive ACCET accreditation.
