Greater Michigan Construction Academy Graduates 40 Students

Midland, Michigan, May 2017 – The Greater Michigan Construction Academy will honor forty (40) students who completed their training from six different construction trades including Electrical, Carpentry, Pipefitting, Instrumentation, Ironworking, and Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.  GMCA will hold their Graduation Banquet for the 25 Midland facility graduates on, Thursday evening, May 18th. They will be holding a second graduation event on Wednesday, May 24 at their Lansing facility for the 15 graduates from that location.

“These students are the future of our industry,” says Stephanie Davis, Vice President of the Greater Michigan Construction Academy. “They are a vital part of our community and our economy and need to be commended for their accomplishments.”

GMCA currently trains in twelve different construction trades specialties.  The Academy is a nationally registered program with NCCER and the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT). GMCA is also the first vocational school of its kind to go through the process and receive ACCET accreditation.
