Greater Michigan Construction Academy Graduates 39 Students

Midland, Michigan, May 2016 – The Greater Michigan Construction Academy will honor thirty nine students who completed their training from ten different
construction trades including Electrical, Carpentry, Pipefitting, Insulation, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Millwright, Ironworking, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and HVAC.  GMCA will hold their Graduation Banquet, Thursday evening, May 12th at their Midland Training Facility.

“These students are the future of our industry,” says Stephanie Davis, Director of Education for the Greater Michigan Construction Academy. “They are a vital part of our community and our economy and need to be commended for their accomplishments.”

GMCA currently trains in twelve different construction trades specialties.  The Academy is a nationally registered program with NCCER and the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT). GMCA is also the first vocational school of its kind to go through the process and receive ACCET accreditation.
