Greater Michigan Construction Academy Scholarships
Each year, a limited number of scholarships are available for students and individuals pursuing post-secondary skilled trades education and training.
This scholarship covers up to the cost of tuition and books for the student’s first year (two 20 week semesters) of a craft training curriculum that’s provided by GMCA.
The classes offered at the Greater Michigan Construction Academy are accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) organization.
Deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 3, 2025.
In memory of Tracie Greene, this scholarship honors her legacy by supporting women who aspire to build careers in construction and the skilled trades. Recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in traditionally male-dominated fields, this scholarship encourages women to pursue their dreams in the construction industry.
The scholarship awards up to $1,000 as a one-time disbursement to assist with training at GMCA. This scholarship is open to women with a demonstrated interest in construction or skilled trades who are committed to making an impact in their communities and the industry.

The Greater Michigan Construction Academy is honored to offer the Conrad Charities Scholarship, established in memory of Douglas Conrad, to support the next generation of skilled construction professionals.

The Greater Michigan Construction Academy facilitates opportunities for career growth in the construction industry through 11 continuing education programs targeting craft workers, foremen, supervisors, project managers, superintendents and company management. Providing such programs is important to the construction industry to achieve knowledgeable employees and a safe work environment.
